The Okotoks Dawgs have yet to figure out the Lethbridge Bulls on the road this season, falling 7-2 tonight (July 3).

The Dawgs are now behind 4-2 in the season series with the Bulls.

Lethbridge started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning, getting two runs across home plate for the first lead of the game. Neither team would get any runs in the second inning.

The Bulls then scored a total of five runs during the third and fourth innings going up 7-0.

The Dawgs would break Lethbridge's shutout at the top of the fourth, scoring the final two runs in the game.

Connor Crowson would get Brendan Luther in for a run first after hitting a single to second base.

Barry Eiseman was up to bat shortly after with bases loaded. Just like he has done all season long, the pressure had no hold on Eiseman as he waited for his pitch and scored Dawson Santana in for a run. Patience is a virtue for the Dawgs and Eiseman.

The Dawgs will be back at Seaman Stadium for two games on Thursday as they play a doubleheader against the Edmonton Prospects. The first game starts at 4:00 pm and the second game will follow at 7:05.
