Three Albertans landed in the top 3 spots in Saddle Bronc at the Calgary Stampede on Tuesday afternoon.

It was day two of Pool B and Kolby Wanchuck from Sherwood Park nailed an 88.00 for first place on the day and he's also first in the aggregate.

Dawson Dahm (Duffield, AB) rode Mary Lou for an 87.50 with High River's Lucas Macza scoring an 86.50 for third place.

Macza now sits tied for second in the aggregate as Dahm sits in 5th with the final third round of Pool B coming up this Wednesday afternoon.

Turning to Bareback, the only Canadian and Albertan in Pool B is Ty Taypotat from Nanton. He was able to stay on for 8 seconds but only managed a 72.00 and well back of the day money and is in 9th in the aggregate.

Bull Riders also had a tough day with the exception of Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, SK) who tied for first with a score of 84.00. Coy Robbins from Camrose and Jordan Hansen (Amisk, AB and formerly from Okotoks) were both bucked off. Parsonage is now tied for third in the aggregate.

In Tie-Down Roping Stettler's Beau Cooper put up a time of 7.8 seconds for fourth place on the day and moved into 6th place in the aggregate. Cooper's the only Canadian in Pool B.

And in Ladies Barrel Racing Brooks' Lynette Brodoway, a fan favourite, only managed an 8th-place finish with Blake Molle (Chauvin, AB) coming in 9th.

No Canadians are in Steer Wrestling in Pool B.

And in Novice Saddle Bronc there were some good showings from Albertans. Devon Hay (Wildwood) rode to a score of 73.00 for 2nd place on the day as Clay Greenslade (Strathmore) was bucked off.
