A Formula E team will begin testing on Friday in London, ahead of a race in the United States on May 23.
The Formula E car will be driven by British racer Alex Lowes, who is currently a reserve driver for the French squad of Jules Bianchi.
The team’s driver, Sebastien Buemi, will be joined by Canadian driver Sebastien Bourdais.
Buemi will be testing with the British team for the first time in the US.
The first round of the race will take place on April 23, with the US grand prix on May 10.
F1 fans will be able to watch Formula E testing on live feeds at the circuit and on the BBC Sport website.
British fans will also be able watch the race via the BBC’s Formula E app.
It is not yet clear whether or not the race is being streamed live on social media.
