RACE MODE: Racing mode returns to the PlayStation®4 system in this new expansion pack for Rivals™.
Players can take on the role of the greatest driver ever to step onto the grid in this all-new racing mode, now available for the PlayStation 4.
With its new physics-based physics engine, the new racing mode gives players unprecedented access to the thrill of a high-speed collision and the adrenaline of victory.
For the first time ever, players can race at speeds as high as 1,500 miles per hour, breaking records for high-definition graphics and the fastest lap times in the series history.
Rivals Racing mode, released on September 4, 2019, is the first new racing title from the developers behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
The brand-new race mode is the result of a partnership between Activision and Epic Games.
A few months ago, Activision acquired the rights to the rights for a new racing game, and today the developer revealed that Rivals Racing will be available for PlayStation® 4 on September 24, 2019.
This new racing expansion pack also includes brand-spanking new race tracks for the next generation of PlayStation® platforms, including PlayStation® VR.
In the brand-New Rivals Racing expansion pack, players will be able to play as Robert Oppensheimer, the legendary racer who set the fastest time in the first Formula One race.
The race track in which this race is set, which is currently unavailable to the public, is set on a remote lake in the United Kingdom, a world renowned for its pristine nature.
The world record for the highest-speed race was set in 1962 by the legendary James Hunt, who set a record of 1,835.9 mph.
The track is located on the edge of a large lake, in a place where racing is not allowed.
Players will be racing to complete the race, while avoiding traffic, other drivers, and a number of other obstacles in the area.
This race will be the first to be available on PlayStation VR, as well as for the HTC Vive, which will allow players to experience the adrenaline-fueled adrenaline rush of racing in VR.
The new racing map features a variety of obstacles, and players will need to be on top of their game if they want to complete their race.
